The price of fat cattle drops and the arroba costs R$ 225.90

The price of live cattle fell 0.26% this Friday (17). As a result, a 15 kilogram of product now costs R$ 225.90 in the state of São Paulo.

In relation to kilos of frozen and chilled chicken, there was stability in prices. The first continues to be sold at R$7.14 and the second at R$7.36. For both products, the reference regions are Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.

The special pork carcass also remains at the same price and the merchandise is sold at R$ 10.18, in wholesalers in Greater São Paulo. Stability came after a two-day sequence of rising values.

For the kilogram of live pigs, there was an upward trend and stability in prices, depending on the state analyzed by Cepea. In Minas Gerais, for example, the price was maintained at R$7.27. In Paraná, the product’s value increased and is traded at R$ 6.46.
