The week begins with a stable dollar, quoted at R$5.10
The commercial dollar exchange rate started the week at R$5.10. At the last close, the American currency devalued 0.05% against the real. The euro, in turn, starts the week at R$5.54 — with a slight drop of 0.35%.
According to experts, the stability of the dollar has to do with the expected release of federal revenue data for the month, which does not yet have a scheduled date. Furthermore, in Congress, this week the vote on the project on payroll tax relief for 17 important sectors of the economy and municipalities is scheduled. And Minister Haddad has already announced that he will present impact estimates and compensatory measures for the measure in the coming days.
The tourism dollar starts on Tuesday (21) at R$5.32.
