Week starts off on a low note for coffee

This Tuesday (8), a 60-kilo bag of Arabica coffee costs R$ 1,418.11 in the city of São Paulo, a drop of 2.72%. Robusta coffee registered an even greater drop, of 3.77% in relation to the last closing, and a 60-kilo bag is sold at R$ 1,358.43 for collection in the vicinity of the producing region of Colatina and São Gabriel da Palha, in Holy Spirit.

For crystal sugar, in São Paulo, the price fell slightly, to R$ 146.86, a drop of 0.07%. On the coast of São Paulo, the average price, without taxes, of a 50-kilo bag fell by 2.02% and is quoted at R$156.36.

A 60 kg bag of corn closed down 0.24% and is traded at R$66.05 for the reference region of Campinas (SP).
