With rising prices, beef cattle start the week priced at R$261.05
The price of a beef cattle arroba in São Paulo is R$261.05, a price increase since the last closing price. According to researchers from Cepea/USP, there has been a decrease in the price difference for the arroba in the state in relation to other regions, mainly in Mato Grosso do Sul.
For frozen chicken, the last closing price also saw an increase in prices, with a jump of 0.14% and the product being traded at R$7.34. Chilled chicken fell by 0.27% and costs R$7.48. These prices are practiced in wholesalers in Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.
The price of special pork carcasses remained stable and the kilo of the product costs R$13.01 in Greater São Paulo, while live pigs are sold at R$8.96 in Minas Gerais and R$8.15 in Rio Grande do Sul.
